BRENDAN GUY COUGHLAN

Born and bred in Centurion, Gauteng, Brendan Guy Coughlan has always had a love for music and everything that comes with it. Influenced by Robben Ford, Vance Joy, Johnny Clegg, Mark Beling, Dan Patlansky, Stevie Ray Vaughn, James Taylor, Ed Sheeran, Jack Johnson, Bob Dylan and John Mayer. Brendan loves playing funky/ blues acoustic vibe music.

He has a passion for running his guitar repair workshop, managing a Folk Club showcasing local talent, performing his heart out in a one piece solo band and for the past 7 years being part of Monkeys Wedding - a highly successful cover band focused on Corporates and Weddings. Currently focusing on growing more as a solo artist expanding into a looping based acoustic style - watch this space!
